A navigation system is packed with electronics. Unfortunately, it can happen that the system malfunctions over time. For example, the iDrive system often gets stuck on the startup logo (see photo). The photo shows an NBT navigation system from a Mini F54.
It’s essential to program the system. The computer is chock-full of codes, including the chassis number, for example. If it’s not properly programed, it can cause all sorts of malfunctions, and the iDrive computer will not function properly. The navigation system itself will also never work, as the unlock code is linked to the VIN.

The solution
A new system, including programming, costs around €3,000 at the dealership. Fortunately, it’s possible to install a used system at a reduced rate. We can professionally program it to your chassis number.
This is also possible remotely; we’ll send it to you by mail, pre-programmed. It’s also possible to transfer the maintenance history and load the latest navigation map. After programming, the navigation system is plug and play! The result is shown in the photo below: another well-functioning navigation system!
