The FRM3 and LM2 offer additional functionality compared to previous modules. The LM1 and FRM1 do not support welcome lighting, but newer models do.

How does the upgrade work?
- We’ll find a suitable lighting module based on your chassis number. You can choose between a new or used product.
- A backup of the old module is being made.
- The old module is dismantled & the new one is installed.
- Reprogramming the module with the latest factory software. Simultaneously, the chassis number is entered into the module.
- The vehicle order (option code list) is transferred to the new module. This is often not done; this can cause problems if the CAS module crashes later, or if complete vehicle programming is required, for example, at a dealership.
This work can even be done remotely; you will then receive the plug & play module.
